About Rebecca

I have known Rebecca both personally and professionally for over 15 years. I have known her to be and insightful and compassionate person on all levels. I have referred clients to her in the past and will continue to do so in the future. She is a wonderful resource for her clients and the community in general.

I have professionally witnessed the extraordinary talent and intuition Rebecca Dwyer-Elias brings to her practice of psychotherapy over the last ten years. In working with professionals across the country, it is important for their continuing care that we refer to an experienced and compassionate therapist. I have referred countless clients and couples to Rebecca Dwyer-Elias and heard only outstanding feedback and observed encouraging results.

One particular client was unable to maintain longer than a few sessions with previous therapists, and did not make much progress in maintaining sobriety and relieving her shame and sadness. Ms. Dwyer-Elias kept this client engaged for over a year and she was able to successfully engage in a career and a relationship with a significant other in that time. I am honored to call her a colleague.

I have known Rebecca Dwyer-Elias for the past 11 years in the capacity of volunteer for the American Red Cross of the Quad Cities Area in Moline, IL. Rebecca volunteers as a disaster mental health volunteer. She has responded to local disasters and also large national hurricane disaster operations. In addition, Rebecca does debriefings for our disaster volunteers returning from their three week assignment on disasters.

Being a disaster volunteer requires a large capacity for flexibility and adaptability ... Rebecca does very well in this area by keeping her focus on the best way to serve Red Cross clients who've suffered loss due to disasters. Rebecca is always professional as a volunteer for the Red Cross in the area of disaster mental health services.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working professionally with Rebecca Dwyer-Elias over ten years and highly recommend her skills to those looking for assistance in learning to live their lives more successfully. She is professional, yet sensitive and intuitive regarding her clients needs. She is knowledgeable regarding trauma sensitive care and her assessment skills are outstanding. She always seems to know the best ways to serve and support those who come to her for assistance. She is very aware of other community services and this allows her to treat her clients holistically. I recommend her as a therapist without hesitation.
